I'm a design leader with 25+ years across enterprise UX, design systems, and digital product transformation. My focus is helping teams ship better outcomes under real constraints-legacy systems, multiple stakeholders, fragmented UI, and unclear priorities.
Most of my career has been spent in environments where design is hard: complex workflows, competing priorities, technical debt, and organizations that move slower than they'd like. I've learned that the best design work often isn't about creativity-it's about clarity, alignment, and systems that scale.
I consult independently on a limited basis. I do not use or disclose any confidential information from any employer or client.
The principles that guide my work and recommendations.
Design should make things easier to understand, not just prettier. If it doesn't help users make decisions faster, it's noise.
Good design process creates artifacts that teams can reference. No more relitigating the same debates every sprint.
Design systems aren't about control-they're about giving teams confidence to ship without second-guessing basic choices.
Sustainable design requires repeatable processes. Individual brilliance is nice, but it doesn't survive team changes.
How I conduct business and treat client relationships.
Your business details stay private. I sign NDAs and never share client information.
Ideal solutions that can't ship aren't solutions. I work within real constraints to deliver real outcomes.
I don't take projects that conflict with existing clients or that I can't do well given my capacity.
I'm always happy to chat about enterprise UX, design systems, or how to make complex products easier to ship.
